A velvety Pinot Noir with grace and elegance, the Bella Reserve is deeply coloured, with concentrated fruit purity and power. Enjoy - Saluté

The 2021 Bendigo growing season started with a cool spring, followed by perfect weather from February through to mid-April. Warm and dry conditions during this time gave us delicious tasting fruit and a wonderful grape harvest. Estate Grown; a combination of clones 5 and 777, each fermented individually. The fruit was 100% de-stemmed followed by a long cold maceration, fermented slowly, gently pressed and put to barrel. The wine has been filtered and is unfined. Aged in French oak barriques for 17 months.

‘Bella Vino’, Beautiful Wine. Hand Harvested: April 2021.

Limited Edition: 800 Bottles Only

Drink/Cellar: Now until 2030

97/100 Points, Wine Orbit, Sam Kim
"Refined and immensely complex, the wine shows sweet plum, dried herb, game and cedar characters on the nose with a hint of forest floor notes. It's sophisticated and symphonic, offering exceptional fruit purity and savoury nuances combined with seamless texture and silky flow, finishing superbly long and engaging. At its best: 2024 to 2036"

Five Stars, Michael Cooper ONZM
"The classy, concentrated 2021 vintage is a rare red – only 800 bottles were made.  Estate-grown and hand-picked at Bendigo, it was matured for 17 months in French oak barriques and bottled without fining.  Deep, bright ruby, it is invitingly perfumed and full-bodied, with a strong surge of plummy, spicy, nutty flavours, very ripe, savoury and harmonious.  Showing lovely delicacy and suppleness, it’s a very youthful red, well worth cellaring to 2026+."

95/100 Points, Cameron Douglas MS
"A complex wine with a bouquet of youth and power, vibrant red fruit aromas and new wood scents. There’s mineral and earthy qualities as well as a drive and intensity. Taut, ripe, varietal and complex on the palate with flavours of cherries and berries, dried herbs and newer wood tension and poise. Firm velvet textured tannins and medium+ acid line, plenty of wood and accompanying spice and wood smoke layers. Dry, lengthy and complex. Best drinking from 2027 through 2037+. Outstanding"

96/100 Points, Bob Campbell MW
"Aromatic, perfumed pinot noir with appealing floral/red rose and violet scents together with intense, ripe dark cherry and a suggestion of spicy characters. Good cellaring potential - 2023-2030"
