The 2023 Bendigo growing season was a mixed vintage of three seasons. Warm temperatures at the beginning of summer, followed by cooler days and an early Autumn. The beauty of our site at Bendigo meant we were able to harvest early while the fruit was at optimum ripeness. The result of the ever-changing weather patterns produced an absolutely stellar vintage.
The fruit was 100% de-stemmed followed by a long cold maceration, fermented slowly, gently pressed and put to barrel. The wine has been filtered and is un-fined. Aged in French oak barriques for 17 months.
