By purchasing wines via our website you accept and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
ONLINE PAYMENTS
Mondillo Vineyards Limited accepts Visa and MasterCard.
SALE OF LIQUOR ACT
Mondillo Vineyards Limited is the holder of an Off-Licence, as required under the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012, and as such is legally authorized to promote and deliver wine for sale by mail order.
SUPPLY OF LIQUOR TO MINORS
It is illegal for us to sell wine to you if you are under the age of 18. By entering this site you have confirmed that you are 18 years or older.
DELIVERY INFORMATION
Our website orders will only be delivered within New Zealand. All deliveries within New Zealand are by courier, to the address you have stipulated, with delivery instructions as per your personal request.
We take no responsibility for loss of goods once delivered. Any shortages or breakages must be reported to us within 24 hours, by phone on 03 442 6641 or via email to wines@mondillo.com as all goods are insured up until the point of delivery (as per your delivery instructions). If replacement on damage goods is not possible (i.e. limited edition wines) we will refund the item in the same form that payment was made, or supply with alternative wine. Options will be discussed with the customer.
DESCRIPTION AND ORDER RETURN POLICY
We aim to provide accurate descriptions of our wines, however, your personal perception may vary from our description and those of the wine writers/professional reviews that are shown on our site. Please select and purchase your wines carefully.
We generally only replace the wines if they are faulty. Mondillo Vineyards Limited has an extremely intensive wine testing procedure prior to any wine being released. If you are not completely satisfied with the product, contact wines@mondillo.com or phone 03 442 6641 and we will call you to discuss your concerns. Please note, this must be done within 10 days of the purchase date. Mondillo Vineyards Limited reserves the right to charge for further courier costs to return a product. Nothing in these terms and conditions entitles the Customer to return products as being surplus to their needs, or when they have changed their minds after purchase – please think before you buy.
WINE CELLARING GUIDE
The correct cellaring environment is vital for the longevity of wine. We have provided with each wine a cellaring potential of how long we believe the wine will cellar for. This guide is based on our wines being kept in a cool, dark place with minimum temperature fluctuations; 12 degrees C to 15 degrees C is ideal. Mondillo holds cellar stock of all of our vintages, so we can check the longevity and health of our wines over time. We will not be held responsible for wines kept by our customers as this is out of our control.
CREDIT CARD SECURITY AND PAYMENT POLICY
All prices shown are in New Zealand dollars, inclusive of GST at 15%. Credit card details do not get transmitted through to Mondillo Vineyards Limited, as all purchases are processed through Shopify Payments (powered by Stripe). See Shopify Payments Terms of Service.
PRIVACY & PASSWORD SECURITY
Mondillo Vineyards Limited does not share or sell your personal information to third parties. Customers who join our mailing list and database have their information retained by Mondillo Vineyards Limited office located in Queenstown, Central Otago, New Zealand. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the ‘unsubscribe’ button, which will be clearly displayed on all promotional emails.
Customers are responsible for their user name, email address and password information. Mondillo Vineyards Limited recommend that you keep your password information secure and do not divulge to a third party. Mondillo Vineyards Limited shall use its best efforts to prevent any unauthorized entry into this website. However they shall not be liable for any damage or loss whatsoever if any third party gains unauthorized access to the site.
JURISDICTION / DISPUTES
This website is provided for use by New Zealand residents. Mondillo Vineyards Limited makes no representations that the website complies with the laws of any country outside of New Zealand.
Our terms are governed by New Zealand law, and any legal action against Mondillo Vineyards Limited must be taken in a Court in New Zealand. The Customer agrees that in the event of any legal dispute relating to these terms and conditions the parties will attempt to settle matters by way of mediation at first instance. Under no conditions do the terms and conditions of this sale contravene those laws as stated in the Consumer Guarantee’s Act 1993.
